First cycling memory
Learning to ride a bike without stabilisers. My father held onto the back of my saddle and I had to avoid hitting the trees and lampposts scattered around the park. I came away injury free but my brother wasn't so fortunate two years later!
Favourite bike
I loved my sporty red Peugeot all terrain bike when I was 15. I polished it and kept it in immaculate condition. I loved its look even though it wasn't so quick on the roads. Today I am very pleased with my Superior X-road 9.7GR.
Top climb
Cycling with my brother up Helvellyn in the Lake District. We were met by a storm on the final ridge and had to creep on all fours whilst securing the bikes. I managed to get the bonk on the return journey on the Kirkstone Pass.
One thing on your bucket list
I would love to cycle around Northern Italy in Piemonte or Toscana with family and friends. Taking in the gorgeous countryside, charming old villages, blue skies the constant 25 degrees and dropping into a few vineyards along the way... yes please!!!
A special skill you bring on tour
I am warm and caring, very patient and a good listener, according to the feedback from previous tours. I am a Physiotherapist who can offer help in times of injury.
Favourite Ride & Seek tour gastronomic experience
Maskinverkstedet in Tromsø had a great ambiance and a unique industrial feel. I loved the reindeer steak, and can't wait to go back there again soon!
