COVID-19 Strzelecki Stress Free Booking 

(The below COVID terms are applicable to all bookings on the March 2021 Strzelecki tour from Sydney to Hobart)

Book with confidence that you won’t lose out if government restrictions force us to cancel our Strzelecki tour and/or you are unable to participate in some or all of the tour because of impact of COVID restrictions on your own movements.

Our aim is to make it as easy and stress free for you when signing up. The flexibility we are offering on refunds and tour credits are recognition of our commitment to you. The details of our COVID cancellation terms are set out in the table below.

Based on this approach we believe your travel insurance will cover you for any ulterior reasons for cancelling but we’ll do the heavy lifting if COVID restrictions are in play. If you have to cancel for reasons that are not associated with COVID restrictions our standard terms apply.

We are also committed to running the safest possible tours and our experience of running tours in 2020 has set us in good stead. Our COVID Safety Protocol is tried and tested.

The Hotel fee is set at AU$550.  It can be transferred to any future tour and is valid for 24 months. In this case we will use it to help cover the costs of non refundable hotel deposits. Ultimately we will wear these costs if you travel with us in the subsequent 24 months but it does assist us with cash flow in the short term.

 

 

Tour Confirmation
> We will review each tour and aim to make a final decision to confirm if the tour will run 70 days before the scheduled start date or sooner if the situation changes. We will maintain an open dialogue with our guests regarding the status of their tour. Final payment invoices will be issued once the decision to run the tour has been made.

Tours Cancelled or postponed by Ride and Seek
> If COVID travel restrictions force us to cancel or postpone a tour we will refund all monies minus a hotel fee of $AU550. This fee can be transferred to another Ride & Seek tour of your choice that will be valid for 24 months from the time of issue.

Tour participation Cancelled by You 
> Up until 15 days prior to departure if COVID travel restrictions cause you to cancel the whole tour os a single stage we will charge a AU$550 hotel fee will be valid for 24 months from the time of issue. The balance of the tour cost will be refunded.

>If you cancel within 14 days of the tour departure becuse of COVID travel restrictions we will refund 50% of the tour cost and the remaining 50% will be held as a tour credit that can be transferred to any tour booked within the next 24 months.
