First ‘good’ one - after I rode bikes for years, as we tend to do in the pancake-flat Netherlands - when I moved to Italy in ’98, and discovered the Dolomites.

Favourite bike

The one I possess - after many others have come & gone - a not so lightweight yet indestructible Madone dating back to 1999, paired with a set of Reynolds Stratus wheels from 2004. Favourite future bike: Open U.P.P.E.R
